Holistic counseling moves beyond traditional talk therapy and works to address every aspect of your being - mind, body, and soul. Through hypnotherapy, brainspotting, meditations, emotional freedom technique, and parts work, among others, you become the master healer for yourself. Check out some of the approaches below, and reach out to learn more about our services.
Hypnotherapy, or guided hypnosis, uses deep relaxation in order to connect to the subconscious mind. This powerful tool has been shown to create lasting changes from a wide variety of issues, including trauma, anxiety, addiction, depression, phobias, and physical ailments, as well as personal discovery and growth. Through this process, you will gain a deeper understanding of the root of the issues you face, as well as gain valuable resources to help ground you during the session and moving forward.

Based on the belief that 'where you look affects how you feel', Brainspotting (BSP) is a technique used to process trauma, anxiety, depression and other unwanted emotions or experiences. Combining somatic processing with eye placement and movement, BSP helps you to discover the underlying issues and allows your body to process and heal. You are truly your own healer as you tap into the natural resources and healing power within yourself!

Emotional Freedom Technique
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or Tapping) is an alternative method to treat anxiety, depression, physical pain, emotional distress, and insomnia. Stemming from Chinese medicine thought, this method focuses on the areas of the body where there may be energetic imbalances, leading to mental and physical illness. Through tapping on these various points, we are able to restore the body's energy to its optimal frequency and health.
Internal Family Systems & Part Work
Each of us have our true, authentic selves, along with numerous additional 'parts', each made up from our life experiences and identified roles needed in order to cope and maintain optimal functioning. The problem is, we sometimes outgrow these parts or they are no longer operating in a healthy and sustainable manner. Based on the Internal Family Systems (IFS) theory, part work includes meeting, working with, and harmonizing with the different parts of ourselves under the leadership of your True Self.
Rates, Insurance & Policies
A counseling session lasts around 50 minutes. During this time, we can incorporate many of the approaches and services above, including Brainspotting, EFT, parts work, and hypnotic resourcing.
Many of the hypnotherapy techniques require a longer time frame than 50 minutes, and therefore I also offer a 90 minute and 120 minute session option.
Rates for Sessions
50 minutes - $140
90 minutes - $240
120 minutes - $300
A limited number of sessions are available at a discounted rate. If you need a discounted rate, please discuss with me prior to our first or next session.
Accepted forms of payment include MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, HSA, Venmo, PayPal, Cash or Check.
I currently accept private pay only in order to prioritize the care of each client and keep your information private. However, I am able to offer a superbill at the end of each month. This superbill reflects payments made throughout the month and can be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement for our sessions.
Please keep in mind that insurance companies may only reimburse for a 50 minute session, and therefore 90 minute or 120 minute sessions may not be fully covered. Please consult with your insurance company for specific information about their out-of-network reimbursement.
If you would like to have a monthly superbill provided to you, please discuss with me.
Sessions scheduled outside of my normal hours of availability may be subject to a 20% rate increase.
Cancellation Policy: Due to limited scheduling availability and high demand, I enforce a late cancellation policy. Therefore, I require 24-hour notice of any cancellation of scheduled sessions. In the case of any no-show or less than 24-hour notice of cancellation, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Emergencies may be an exception to this policy.
COVID Policy: Due to the ongoing COVID risks, I request that you notify me immediately of any exposure or potential exposure due to in-person sessions, as well as of any COVID symptoms or positive test that may impact our sessions. In the case of COVID symptoms or a positive test for yourself or someone in your household, sessions will be moved to Telehealth until you and everyone in your household have received two negative COVID tests at least 24-hours apart. Masks are required for clients who are unvaccinated for all in-person sessions. I reserve the right to switch to telehealth sessions at any point to ensure safety and security for myself, my family, and my clients.
Good Faith Estimate & No Surprises Act
Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide a good faith estimate of expected charges for items and services to individuals who are not enrolled in any insurance plan and do not have coverage under a Federal Healthcare Program, or not planning on filing a claim with their plan or coverage, with an estimate of the cost for services being requested. This estimate aims to provide transparency regarding fees by providing fee schedules for all services provided by this clinician.
As your therapy needs may vary throughout the year, you may need less or more frequent sessions, which will impact your estimate accordingly. You may also discontinue therapy at anytime.
Initial Intake (90791) - One Time Service - $130
Individual Therapy, 50m (90837) - Frequency Varies - $130
Individual Therapy, 90m (90837, 90833) - Frequency Varies - $235
Individual Therapy, 120m (90837, 90838) - Frequency Varies - $300
Hypnotherapy, 90m (90880) - Frequency Varies - $235
Hypnotherapy, 120m (90880) - Frequency Varies - $300
While your estimate does not need to be exact, the law gives you the authority to contest any bill that is $400 or more higher than your estimate. If the provider has reason to believe the estimate is inaccurate, the estimate can be updated but only for future services. The good faith estimate does not include services not provided by your provider that you may need, or that your provider may recommend.
